GB7 Meetup helps you meet people through the places you go and the things you enjoy — locals, travellers, and people who share your interests, wherever you are. It’s about real connections in the real world, not swiping.
Our mission
Cities are full of people you’d get along with — you just never cross paths. Whether you’ve just moved somewhere new, you’re travelling and want a local perspective, or you simply want to find people who love the same things you do, meeting them shouldn’t be hard. GB7 Meetup exists to make those introductions feel natural and safe, and to turn them into plans you actually keep.
We are deliberately not a dating app. No swiping, no ranking people by looks. The focus is shared places, activities, and interests — and meeting up in person.

Uploaded photos are re-encoded to strip hidden metadata, including GPS location.

Who’s behind it
GB7 Meetup is built and operated by Grispin Bauknecht under the brand GB7 Social, based in Fellbach, Germany. It’s an independent project with a simple belief: technology should help people meet in real life, not keep them scrolling.
