These terms govern your use of the GB7 Meetup website and app (the “Service”), operated by Grispin Bauknecht (operating as “GB7 Social”) — see our Legal Notice. By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these terms.
1. The Service
GB7 Meetup helps people discover locals, travellers, places, and shared interests, and meet up in real life. It is a community meetup platform, not a dating service.
2. Eligibility & your account
- You must be at least 16 years old to use the Service.
- Provide accurate registration details and keep your password confidential. You are responsible for activity under your account; we recommend enabling two-factor authentication.
- One person, one account. Don’t impersonate others or misrepresent who you are.
3. Your content
You keep ownership of the content you post. You grant us a limited, worldwide, royalty-free licence to host, store, and display your content solely to operate the Service. You are responsible for your content and must have the rights to share it.
4. Acceptable use
You agree to follow our Community Guidelines. In particular, do not use the Service to harass, threaten, or endanger others, to post illegal, hateful, or sexually exploitative content, to spam or scam, to scrape or reverse-engineer the Service, or to attempt to reveal another person’s exact location or private information.
5. Safety & meeting people
Meeting new people carries real-world risk. We provide tools (approximate location, reporting, blocking) but we do not vet members and are not responsible for members’ conduct. Please read our Safety guidance and use your own judgement.
6. Moderation & termination
We may remove content or suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms or the Community Guidelines, or where necessary to protect the community or comply with the law. You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time.
7. Availability & changes
The Service is provided “as is”. We may change, suspend, or discontinue features, and we may update these terms; material changes will be posted here with a new date. Continued use after changes take effect means you accept them.
8. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential damages. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law (including for intent, gross negligence, or injury to life, body, or health). Your statutory consumer rights remain unaffected.
9. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Germany, without prejudice to mandatory consumer-protection provisions of your country of residence.
