We keep this simple: the public GB7 Meetup website uses no advertising and no tracking cookies, and no third-party analytics. We use only what is strictly necessary for the site to work.

What we use

• Session storage (login page). When you sign in at /login, your browser’s sessionStorage temporarily holds your access token so the page can talk to our API. It is cleared when you close the tab or log out, and it is never sent to third parties.
• No marketing or analytics cookies. We do not set advertising, profiling, or cross-site tracking technologies.

Because we use only strictly necessary storage…

…no consent banner is required for it under the ePrivacy rules. If we ever introduce optional cookies (for example analytics), we will ask for your consent first and update this page.

Managing storage

You can clear cookies and site storage at any time in your browser settings. Doing so will simply sign you out of the website.
